(1)主是牧者的供应
耶和华
希伯来文:yud-heh-vav-heh/yhvh,读音adonai
主:主人,主宰,主权
主人:说明我们属於他,是他所宝贵的,他是创造我们的主,设计我们生存环境的主,供应我们一生各方面需要的主.
主宰:说明他对我们一生道路的决定权,决定我们的性别,天资,家庭,际遇,社会上的地位,健康状况,财富,寿数等.
(2)主是良友的陪伴
大卫的见证[诗篇23]
是主使我躺卧在青草地上、
是主领我在可安歇的水边。
是主使我的灵魂苏醒、
是主为自己的名引导我走义路。
是主让我行过死荫的幽谷、也不怕遭害．
是主与我同在．你的杖、你的竿、都安慰我。 在我敌人面前、
是主为我摆设筵席．
